Test Aviate Before Anyone Else
Aviate is in closed alpha on Google Play. Follow these four steps to install the app on your Android device and start shaping its future. As a thank you, every Pro feature is completely free while the alpha is running.
Join the Aviate Google Group
Google requires every alpha tester to join an opt-in group before they can download the app. Sign in with the same Google account you use on your Android phone, then click Join Group.
Open Google GroupYou don't need to post or subscribe to email updates, membership alone is enough.
Accept the tester invitation on Google Play
Once you're in the group, Google needs a few minutes to recognize your account. Open the Aviate listing on Google Play and accept the invitation to become a tester.
Open Play Store listingIf the listing shows an error, wait 10 to 15 minutes for your membership to propagate and try again.
Install Aviate on your phone
Install the app from the same Play Store listing. Updates arrive automatically, including builds released exclusively to alpha testers, so you're always on the latest version.
Make sure your device is signed in to the same Google account you joined the group with.
Test Aviate and share feedback
Scan a boarding pass, track a flight, build a checklist, open an airport map. Every Pro feature is unlocked for free during the alpha. When something surprises you, breaks, or sparks an idea, let us know.

Running into trouble?
- Still seeing a Play Store error? Google can take up to fifteen minutes to register your membership. Wait a bit and refresh the listing.
- Using the right account? Your phone's primary Google account must match the one that joined the group, otherwise Google Play won't show the app.
- No Android device? iOS is in development. Join the waitlist on the homepage to hear when it launches.
- Stuck on a different issue? Reach out through our contact page and we'll help you get set up.
